And there's more, tackling practical tasks to improve our environment, following the example set by the litter pickers.
To launch the Group, we have arranged a Zoom viewing and discussion of the recently released People's Emergency Briefing, a 50-minute documentary presented by naturalist Chris Packham. All Ayr u3a members are welcome to Zoom-in to this on Thursday, 3 September, details in the Newsletter. The previous u3a showing in Ayr Town Hall was well received.
We will also use this meeting to agree on the Group logistics. Initial thoughts are that most meetings will be held on Zoom, on the first Thursday of each month, at 4pm for 90 minutes.
